Invite to the Chevrolet Nationals

We got this awesome invitation yesterday to be apart of the Carlisle Chevrolet Nationals with dads 71 Monte Carlo. We will be part of the indoor display celebrating 50th anniversary of the Monte Carlo. The head of the Michigan Monte Carlo Club saw our car at Autorama and reached out to the folks at Carlisle Events and told them about our car. They emailed us for some more information and pictures and within a few minutes we got this formal invitation to be a part of their event! So we will be heading to PA this June to be a part of this event!

Has anyone been to any of the Carlisle events specifically the Chevrolet Nationals? This will be our first time heading there and the farthest we will have traveled for a car show.

It's always a huge show, I can't speak for the Chevy side, but they do a Ford one too.
This year is a big even with the 35 years of Merkur, so they're trying to have a big show and a group from Europe will be bringing cars over.
I plan to drive my heap there this June for it, should be awesome if we make it there.

Go do it, nothing to lose...
 
Congrats! Saw the car and your dad at Autorama. Mentioned I saw it on here and got a quizzical look until one of the other guys mentioned you had posted it. Well deserved invite and enjoy the show! We used to go to carlisle from NY when I was a kid for shows. Lots of stuff around there and hotels, etc. Enjoy it!
