This is my wife's car (67' chevelle). It turned out pretty nice. The pics don't do the paint justice. I wasn't expecting it to lay down as nice as it did considering I rattlecanned it. I sure hope my car's paint job looks as good as hers does. I doubt hers will be very fast cuz its a tank but it did turn out nicer than I expected so i'm happy, she's happy LOL. Go figure her car gets finished before mine.

Where are you guys getting your resin parts like cowl hoods and such? I used to order from a AF/X N scale place that closed down.

I went to the slot car track and tested my wife's chevelle and it ran 11.30's!!!! I couldn't believe it!! That same chassis had a 93' mustang cobra body on it before and ran mid to low 12's. I guess the extra weight helped traction or something. Either that or the motor is breaking in more.
Chris, comp resins has the plastic pieces you might be looking for. I just got my cowl today for my hood. (P.S. That nova looks sweet!)

Damn Danny, I looked at your cousin's wrecked nova today in the display case and that thing was friggin' destroyed!!! It hit the finish line post!!???? It must have been on a good run when it happened LOL!!

jake thats a edge chassis right? try putting some pro tracks on the wifes car, i was told by a few people it will pick up with better tire on it,
lol and my cousins car, yea.... what happened was i mass making a pass with our fast car, it needs a wing.... it broke loose about 1000 foot mark went sideways then my cousins car hit that and went airborne and hit the finish line board thing over the track.

Not hardly. Yes, I do like having more than 1 hobby. I'll get a power adder eventually but its not that big a deal right now. I've had some help purchasing parts for my slot car so I haven't spent that much on it.
