They can get real expensive. It depends on how fast you wanna go and the quality of the parts/work performed. Hell, my car has well over a $100 into it and its not even painted and doesn't have a motor yet!

you win any Saturday night or Wednesday night race, were the pay out is up near 200 bucks......

its 5 bucks to race and 50 bucks for a car......... you do the math..........

Thanks. She is an exact replica of my Mustang that I race. The fastest she went was 8.70s which the same times I'm expecting to get my car to run in the 1/4 mile.

Thats friggin' flyin' for a slot car!! I still can't believe some guys are running 5's or better!!!! The only bad thing about having a slot car that quick is when it comes off the track, they usually get destroyed. I'm hoping mine runs low 10's or 9.9's.
