Dodge Demon

I must be the only one who hasn't fallen in love with Anvil/Destroyer Grey yet. It still looks like primer grey with clear coat to me...and reminds me of my 9 month stint at the assembly plant staring at bodies in white.

I don't like it either. Flat grey looks terrible to me. Needs to be metallic.

I like that color too! I know that one has clear coat/gloss, but how about the cars that actaylly look flat. Is there a flat clear coat? My buddy ordered this in this color and I asked how you wax it and take care of it and he wasn't sure. He mentioned possibly putting clear bra on the entire car..

When we got the first car painted that grey color I stopped and got out to look thinking they forgot to paint a car lol

You touch that Grigio Titans and you'll fuck it up for life. The best way to take care of the satin versions is to just not fuck with it at all. No products of any kind. It's actually reasonably robust. You could wrap it with satin clear bra, but to me that defeats the purpose. It's just not a paint job I would get for a car I planned on beating on. Only way to do it justice is to leave it as is, and if you leave it as is, you just have to live with the consequences of rock chips and whatnot.

I think they typically give you some sort of care instructions with the factory matte paint jobs. It really is basically touch it as little as possible with some notes on what to do about things like bird shit or whatever.

A standard clear wrap would be glossy and not work though. Not sure how much impact a satin clear bra deal would have on the car's appearance? I think I'd get a small scrap piece to apply somewhere discrete to see how it looks before diving in and getting the whole car clear bra'ed though.

This has gotta be Dline lol

This is my favorite line in the article: "that’s how we know that it can pull 1g on the skid pad and brake from 60-0 in 97’" . Cant wait to hear all the "it only goes in a straight line" poeple now.

Sweet Color......That's a bad ass looking ride....

Is that the same kind of paint that I see the flat white? They painted one of the original Z28 cars that went to the Nurburgring in that and it looked pretty awesome. I asked Mark Steilow about it, and all that he said was that if you got a scratch you had to repaint the whole panel - for some reason you couldn't do touch ups with it. Anyone know the kid/brand of paint that is? I would love to put this paint on my 2nd gen project.

Don't paint it, wrap it! I would call that satin, not matte.
