Dodge Demon

The eight speed works so well it is the only trans that makes any sense for a drag car. In the Hellcats and Scat Packs all things being equal the automatics are a half second quicker.

Gotta admit though, it is fun rowing gears.

Yep i was hoping for no screws, jcwhitney flares it is, sucky

How can you tell that from the assembly pic? It has to have mounting holes either way. We all knew it wasn't going to be actuall sheet metal. The plastic flares have to mount somehow. I'm not a fan of the wide body but will be disappointed if they slap on some 4x4 flares with visible bolts or rivets.

All the time spent in putting holes in that fender which is totally different now, they couldve stamped out a flared one peice fender, thats what I was hoping for

Yes you cant tell from the pic if it will be screws, but looks that way

Just because there are holes in the sheet metal of the fenders doesn't mean there will be external rivets showing on the flares. Those fender flares could have "christmas trees" or body clips molded into the backside of them that just push into the sheet metal.

That was my thought. Wouldn't make sense to go from the plastic flare on the rear bumper section to a one piece metal quarter with a flare.

I worked at JNAP where the Cherokee and Durango's are made for a few years. I managed the Final Inspection area after Final... and the SRT Jeep Cherokee's have stick on wheel flares similar to the ones pictured above. Always had problems with the actual Assy of them put on or seated correctly. My guess is they will go with a stick on as well (Chrysler fashion) as then they wont have to stamp out different sheet metal just for a low volume Demon (Maybe not)

It is really hard to imagine them building the cars with the screws showing. That would be so cheezy. Ah fink dey got mo class din dat. (Friday night after work beer talkin!)

Its already different sheet metal with the new holes shown support area for adding the flares, seems like they couldve just added some sheet metal flares, since they are already making unique demon fenders for the stupid flair addons, as in that picture posted earlier
