It is kind of funny - I had a 2019 Silverado LT that I bought new. It was low mileage, but nothing special, just one trim level up from the work truck with a few extra options. I did get it on the GM Employee plan, but I just traded it in on a new Silverado. I was given $44,000 for it on trade which is 5k+ more than I paid for it in 2019. I got a new Silverado Trail Boss....
I am thinking on getting a new Equinox to replace my 2018 Equinox. I paid $22,500 for it in 2018, again on the GM Plan and I was offered $20,000 for it on trade. It only has 24,000 miles on it and is in great condition, but still it is quite a bit. Ahain, it is a middle of the road Equinox, and nothing special. Carvana offered $20,500 for it, but you do get a $420 sales tax break on trade ins so it works out pretty close. Just way easier to trade it in than deal with craigslist people.
Just my .02......grr
