Cops beat down 15yr old girl in cell

Someone kicks a shoe at me I'm swinging, assault is assault. 15 year old kids think their untouchable, I was that age once and remember doing something to an adult and getting a foot in my ass. That one incident alone knocked the chip off my should rather quick ,every action has a reaction.

Maybe the officer overreacted a little, but where in that position do you draw the line ?

I wonder of all the people that have posted on this thread, how many are over the age of 30? How many have raised teenage kids? How many have had teenagers do something to you or your property, maybe right in front of you because they know you can't do anything to them?

I may be wrong here, but I bet the ones that have agreed with Boomer answer one way and the rest the other.
 
I raised 4 kids all great kids and never had any problems with them because they knew what they would have to deal with when I got ahold of them.

Yes it depends on how kids are raised and who they hang out with but the way that office handled it was completely wrong. Just my 2 cents...
 
cops are way out of line these days. a couple months ago i was thrown against my car and tazered for telling the cop i wanted to smoke my cigarette. then had my head bashed off the elavator wall multiple times on the way to the holding cell. here in warren.i got all the tapes and recordings too,but they got away with it in court.

a couple warren cops beat the hell out of a friend of mine for no reason at all... fucking cockbags... when they pulled him over they pulled up next to him so mysteriously there is no video of it... too bad there were 20 witnesses that stopped to watch... he pulled over on his bike, took his helmet off and put it on the mirror, turned off the bike and kept his hands on his head... for some reason the driver desided he needed to kick him in the chest knocking him off the bike and then kneel on his head while handcuffing him... best part was that while laying on the ground cuffed the cop felt the need to kick him and knee him in the ribs and face, punch him in the face and mace him... all in all he got some stitches, three broken ribs, couldnt see for two days cause his eyes were swollen shut and sat in jail for 24 hours...

cops can get way out of hand

i never said that the police werent at fault or had any right to do what they did... kids need better discipline and laws to protect the parents from their kids

thats total bs that pisses me off so much. when some people get alittle authority they feel the need to make everyone know it. so what ened up happening to your friend did anything go to the courts

nothing the judge say she was absolutely discusted with the officers and dropped everything that they said he did... didnt even want to hear their side of the story after watching what tape there was of the supposive chase... hes suing the officers for money lost for the few weeks he couldnt work which is quite a bit because he owns and opperates his own home improvement/construction business
 
I dont give two fucks what that girl did. She had no reason to be hit at all, let a lone that. Both of the cops should be fired, and charged with assault and battery of a minor, and exxcessive police force, brutality, and everything else. Fucking pieces of shit that hit girls, and its 10000000000 times worse due to the fact they are SUPPOSE to uphold and maintain the law, not break it 20 times by hitting some 15 girl because she mouthed off and kicked a shoe at them.

Personally I think the kid deserved it, but it was excessive. Again though we don't know the whole story.
 
People saying the police officer wasn't out of line are out of your mind. Calling a cop names and being "lippy" is not justification for slamming someone and punching them, period. The fact that the cops reacted like this to some little girl talking shit makes me think the cops probably were assholes beforehand. If a cop calls you a name, you sure as hell don't have the right to assault them, no matter what, so why the hell should they get the right to assault someone for name calling? As far as the shoe goes, I am willing to bet money that she "kicked her shoe" because the police told her to take them off. 99% of the time you are put in a holding cell, they take your shoes. That cop over reacted, and should be fired. If you can't deal with being talked shit to, don't be a cop.

There are some douchebag cops out there, no doubt. But, it seems to me, that people don't have respect for the law anymore, mostly due to their upbringing, or lack there of. If you fail as a parent, then I guess the police have to pick up your slack. It doesn't look to like that was the first time that girl was in jail. I know because I wasn't standing there with my arms crossed kicking my shoes at the officers, I was thinking of the ass-whoopin' I was getting when I got home.
 
Are you guys kidding me? How can you possibly believe that she deserved that? She is a 15 year old GIRL! I was also brought up to respect police officers, but I was also brought to never lay my hand on a lady. This officer was an 8 year "veteran". He should know better than to do what he did. That is unless he has been getting away with shit like this for the past 8 years on the force, which is more than likely the case. She is a CHILD! I'd like to know how many of you would say something or do something if you were sitting there watching that happening? And as far as the shoe, it barely touched his shin give me a break.
