I have a pulley that I need to be made a lot smaller overall diameter wise... Everything else measurement wise stays the same... Where can I go to get this done?

theres a guy on here that does some badass machine work.....i forgot his screenname though. think hes from the westland area.

Reiko, is that a smooth or grooved pulley? I asked the machinists here where I work about doing the same thing. They said that the smooth back one (think wp on a sbf) would be cake, however there was something with machining the grooves on a ribbed one that made it so they didn't want to touch it.

Grooved...

Yup Yup...

Got a bigger alt for my trail truck and putting a smaller pulley to spin the shit out of it... See what happens... :icon_bigg

Blow the windings out of it...?

Source a bigger crank pulley, spin the shit out of everything....

Lastly, you have a brake lathe, make it happen...........
