For instance, you can get some replacement brake rotors for barely more than just getting your old ones turned. Then there are some like the NAPA Ultra Premium that cost $70-100 a piece without being slotted/drilled (I don't want those features anyways.)
Speaking for a LS1 brake setup on a 4th-gen F-body, is there any reason to get anything but the cheapo rotors from the local parts store/Autozone/Murray's? I know that I've heard of the guys with C5 brakes using $30 Autozone rotors, but is that because they're throw-aways or would they use them for a car that isn't tracked where you don't frequently replace brake parts?
