Changes to the coupe

More progress has been made on the new turbo setup. The new engine, th400 trans, and turbo setup is now in the car. Supernatural Turbo has been a huge help, and Reed has gone well out of his way to make this thing happen. Jim Monson was nice enough to allow my junk to enter his shop for the rest of the fabrication. So here are a few pics of where we are currently. Nothing is completely done yet, so the final product will be tuned up a bit, but in general for a mocked up setup, it fits very well.

man thats a nice set up.

Thanks. Reed and Matt have a lot of time in finding a happy home for the large frame 88mm. We finally came to decision, and it turned out very cool.

It seems to be coming together really nice. Cant wait to see it finished.

I will continue to post pics. Hope to have the cold side metal finished tonight and will try to get some pics up. Should have some nice shots from the NMRA event this weekend.

Looks great!

Thanks man! My favorite part is at a glance with the front end on and the hood up, it really doesn't look like anything more than a nicely detailed engine with a cold-air type inlet tube or power pipe type setup. Then if you lean over and look down there is a rather huge turbo!! Maybe, if we cut the elbow down we can fit a stock hook on it and make a real sleeper out of it. LOL.

Steve, WOW!

when you coming over to help me? LOL

Thank Keith. It's definately coming along. Running a little low on sleep though. LOL. Reed, Jim, and myself have been working on it constantly for the past few days (doesn't count the months of work Reed and Matt have invested to make it so easy on us at this point though). At this point just need the injection and ignition. The th400 fits amazingly well. I am going to try and fit a shield in there even though many have told me it won't fit. Just want to avoid the blanket if I can.

As for your car, let me get caught up here, and I would definately like to come check it out and give a hand where needed.

Steve - the car looked great, that thing is so clean. The underside of the car looks just as good as the top. Hopefully you'll get it out soon!

Mark - Thanks for stopping by and the compliment. We are hoping to have it running in a month or so. Can't wait!!
