I guess this thread is kind of like a project log. Hope you like what you see.:icon_mrgr

Well the motor for the 65 was on the dyno yesterday. It made some impressive numbers. Should be a fun season for me! Here is a picture of the dyno chart.

623/630!!! When is my ride going to happen?
as soon as it is nice enough to take the car out for a ride. I cant wait to hear the motor run when it is in the car!:icon_mrgr

That is going to be one bad ass ride for sure. This is the kind of car that makes me want to keep my Charger.

Thanks everyone. I am about to start editing some of the video footage from yesterday. Hopefully it will be up within a day or two.

Im curious on cylinder heads compression and cam specs. Looks badass.

The real impressive part is the average numbers, that thing will be a beast on the street. I'd love to see it pulled down a little lower and see what the power in the 2500-4000 range is but not all dynos have the capability.

I have to ask about the a/f ratio and why it's so lean, hitting 14.0 under WOT. Was it tuned on/for race fuel?

It was tuned on 93 octane that I went and got from the gas station, after the first couple of pulls, a couple of us thought it was detonating up top, so we just threw a little race fuel in to smooth it out a little bit. I think the gas I got from the gas station was a mix of fuel, the tanker truck just pulled away as i pulled in to get some fuel. I will try to get you those specs tomorow, I am about to head to bed, I have a hundred hour work week ahead of me.

Congrats, it's going to be a fun season for sure. I tweaked your post to get the link in there to BMRE's forum and posted the build info for you.

Did you guys try a richer A/F before adding race fuel? I'm curious as to why its so lean.

You should probably call those guys at Best and give them some dyno tuning tips for big block mopars. I'm sure you know more about it than they do!
