Cats Outta the Bag!

Certainly not lean for a forged NA big cubed monster. It's only one bank and it's probably the fuel pump trying to keep up with that hungry beast or just a sensor getting old on the left side. :D

13-14:1 on a n/a motor really isnt all that lean??
I thought the AF ratios seemed fine too for a NA motor. I am used to seeing turbo motors mostly at work though.

Congrats, it's going to be a fun season for sure. I tweaked your post to get the link in there to BMRE's forum and posted the build info for you.

Rick

Well whoever my dad borrowed the video camera from, didnt give me a cable to hook it up to the computer. Hopefully by the end of the week I will have some video up.

Benk that's AWESOME!!!!

I love the fact you are using that Old Mopar for what it was built for!!!

+1

You should probably call those guys at Best and give them some dyno tuning tips for big block mopars. I'm sure you know more about it than they do!

Yeah whatever.

Typical people posting the typical things.

It will be on the street, thats for sure! I gotta get back to work, been here 12 hours already, have about 5 more to go.:pow:

Car is alive and back in my garage. HAvent had a chance to drive it yet as I didnt get home till 2 in the morning.Hopefully the weather cooperates tomorow.

Just updating a little bit. The car has gone 11.34 at 118 so far this year. It is on the lmiter for the last 320 or so feet. I dont want to run a lower gear as it is already a 3.55. I havethe tallest tire on it that will fit. The car definately has a 10.x in it if I can squeeze a few more mph out of it somehow. The motor has around 1000 miles on it and about 30 passes so far this year and is holding up great. Not one problem at all. The car is hitting a chassis dyno on the 23rd of this month. Should be interesting to see how much power I lose through the drivetrain as I know how much the motor makes. We (family project) might do some more racecar stuff to it at the end of the season but for now we are just enjoying going out cruising whenever we can.

Nice Ben... This is some good stuff! Do you have any pic's with the Motor in the car or any pics from the track? Man what a difference compared to how it was huh? I am looking forward to seeing it run and in person! Congrats - One of my favorite rides on this site!

Definately a huge difference now compared to when it had the old and tired 400 in it. The car just rips in any gear. I havent taken the drag radials off yet because I am scared what will happen if I lay into the gas without them!:bowrofl: I dont have any pictured from the track yet, everytime I go the photoguy has taken more photo's of the jr. dragsters than any other type of car. I will surf milan's site to see if I can find any. I only have a few crappy photo's with the motor in but I will post them anyways lol. I am not so good at the whole photography thing.
