A 65-year-old man died Saturday after being struck by a vehicle at a Victoria car show.
The man, identified as Lawrence Christ, 66, of Goliad, was listed in critical condition at the scene,
but was pronounced dead at 12:35 p.m. at nearby Citizens Medical Center.
Officers responded about 10:30 a.m. to the 2700 block of Hospital Drive, where a 37-year-old
Victoria man struck the man and two vehicles at a car show in the parking lot of Citizens Medical
Center, said Officer David Brogger, of the Victoria Police Department.
Brogger said Johnny Durham, who was driving a Buick, drove erratically into the parking lot
past where spectator vehicles were allowed.
