Calling all performance TRUCK / SUV people in the Mitten!

I wouldn't call my truck a performance truck, but here's a before and after pic from when i got it earlier this year from a MM member. i put some 22" reproduction denalli wheels on it and took all the chrome trim off, it cleaned up nicely

Nice transformation! Should look in to some color matched door handles and bezels.
And if you were interested I have a complete low mile Flowmaster American Thunder side exit cat back for the extended cabs... I'd sell it for cheap. Just taking up space in my barn.

Ahhhhh ok, so that silver one was yours, huh? That was on c-list for a long long time. You had an ls2 with it as well, right? Looked like it was in great shape. Did you just sell it to move on to something different?

ya i kept taking it off clist because i didn`t really want to sell it...ya i was going to put a ls3 in it but i ended up selling all my extra ls parts so i could finnish my ls3 mustang.....now that the mustang is finnished i`m looking for another project..

Was out cruising between Woodward and Telegraph on Tuesday before this weather moved in... saw two dark blue Lightnings... was either of them anybody on here by chance? One guy was kind of up to play once he heard me, but traffic got too thick... then the other person just looked at me completely disgusted with the thought I would be having fun in my vehicle and wished he had a Prius instead haha. I don't get some people.

rcsb 2wd FTW

Just a catback, performance-wise, but it surprises people. Year round dd. It's ran at Milan, Great Lakes, Lapeer, Thunder Valley, and Gateway. Driven it across the country more than a couple times.

I figured this thread would be good to ask in. But what's everyone's thoughts on a simple low budget turbo setup for a 2013 GMC Sierra? If I made 100hp over stock I would be more then happy. Also what does everyone think about the 5.3 engine in it, as well as the (4x4)trans handeling this? I just rolled over 1,000 miles on it today. I guess its time to start looking for ways to void my warranty lmao

Theres less expensive turbo setups but none of them are "cheap". Plan on $1k for cheap, and doing it for less than that will be a challenge. Personally I like to keep my DD stockish especially my trucks. I buy my trucks for hauling and towing so Idon't like to do anything that messes with that. I usually do wheels/tires and the rest is dice and decals. I did body lift one, and I'll probably do a front leveling on my current truck for 35's. But as for major mods like a turbo, I leave it for the toy cars.

Ya but I'm bored lol. Already leveled, exhaust, intake, 5% all around and 30% windshield. New wheels/tires. I plan on having a factory remote start hooked up in my truck next. I figured if I could score a decent setup around $3,000 or less for the 100hp I want I'd consider doing it. I tow with the truck and will either be adding a leaf in the rear or just adding 2 air bags. I never usually mess with the DD's either. But this one was begging me. My racecar is done and sleeping for another few months, so I need something to do lol

This guy is the go to guy for fair priced GM truck turbo kits. Been at it for a while now and he's good people.

Why's the tune flashed back to stock? Trying to extend the life of the wearables (transmission)? That truck was certainly quick, impressed me. Plus it's the best color.
