Calling all performance TRUCK / SUV people in the Mitten!

I love the look of a RCSB, but love the utility of a CCSB. A friend of mine has an 04 RCSB with full Silvy SS trim, a blown 6.0 a T56. He even made exhaust tips to match the original Silverado SS show truck. I had the original 4.8 out of his truck in my RCLB 94 Z71.

Sounds serious!!!
Is he local?
Post up some pics

Please keep us updated here as the kit comes along!

anybody in here want to get a little truck meet going on at a test & tune this weekend? Weather looks dry. Might make a little day trip over to US131 Raceway this Saturday. Test & tune is open from noon - 6pm. Never been there, but I've heard from several people that it's the nicest strip in the Mitten!
...or Sunday is bracket racing at Milan, or test & tune at Lapeer (I think they're still open).

My truck is put away for winter. I try not to drive it in the rain or snow. Since I've owned it, it's never seen snow. well, except when I open the shop doors.

I have some parts i'd like to install this winter, but wifey says i have to finish up the mustang first, so she has something to drive next year. ('66).

Search the Silverado sites for Imposster SS.... or something like that. Killer sleeper build..

Oh OK well yeah there's quite a few people on pt with that setup and cut down cladding on a reg. cab. Just haven't seen one local.
I'm not a huge fan of the extra cladding, but it's cool just for variety. I'd think that's the opposite of sleeper though!

Where is it snowing???

My Silverado has never seen rain nor snow either!
I usually reduce insurance and throw a cover on in the pole barn in the middle of December. Last year was still dry and beautiful close to the holidays. Think I have time slips from like Dec. 12 or so last year

Not cut down cladding. He knew the guys at wheel 2 wheel that molded the original SS RCSB show truck and they made him a set. I think W2W might have made a few more sets before they closed. He got into Autorama a couple years but was considered too stock looking. He also got one of the first Rotrex kits from W2W too. His truck originally was NA, and a virtual clone of the show truck, except for the leaf spring rear. The GM show truck had a Tahoe rear frame clip with the coil spring suspension.

Oh that's awesome!

Was just grabbing a bite to eat last night with a guy who said he used to work at W2W years ago.

But yeah, just go take a look at rgvtrucks website and see just how many SSS replica RCSB's there are down there!

Who was that? I remember mentioning getting that turbo kit from Kurt but i don't remember anyone mentioning working there?

Found an old thread on my friends RCSB SS. 4-5 posts in.

There are a bunch of people that made clones, but this one is the closest to the original concept truck. It was NA back when these pics were taken. I got the original 4.8 and complete exhaust system from his truck and it ended up in my 94 Z71.
