The '66 has a single reservoir for brake fluid, manual brakes. The one brake line, branches off and goes to all 4 wheels. Originally it had 4 wheel drum. I believe it has the original brake lines. YIKES!
I put disc brakes on front. I'd like to remove the brake reservoir and add a dual brake fluid reservoir. I "heard" brake reservoir one off a 78 maverick (maybe 73) will bolt right on.
What else am I going to need? I might as well run new brake lines. Can I buy the tool to bend the brake lines so they don't get kinked? Where?
A proportioning valve? I believe I want more front braking. How much?
What diameter brake line should I run? Are the ends of the brake lines (where flared) universal in size?
What should I use to clip the new brake line to the body? where should I get that? what should I use?
