Black people....

why didn't Collin Powell Run for President? I would have voted for him over McCann.

As stated in here, I think it has more to do with their upbringing and environment than race. I grew up in the country (literally I had acreage and horses etc...) To someone who lives in the city, i was pretty naive on certain things.

Remember, what is the percentage of students in Detroit public schools that drop out? I forgot but it was ridiculously high.

Walking out in front of traffic IMO is simply a lack of respect - not only for others, but for themselves. Kinda ties into the fundamentals of moral and ethical beliefs, lifestyles, and at some level - simple comprehension of how a civilized society works together. The color of your skin or your economic status doesn't really tie into this IMO. Perfect example - go to MSU during the fall semester and see how many people you almost run over.

IDK what to say about the thick, white women thing. Sounds to me like a small stereotype being blown out of proportion. Shit...my brothers (white like me) like some of the thicker sisters. That doesn't mean all white people in their socio-economic status do. I say - if you put Beyonce in front of most horny college guys like them - they'd be full of shit if they claimed they didn't want to hit it.

Swimming is purely a "you know it or you don't" kinda thing. Again, nothing to do with your skin color. Just like flying a plane - either you learn how or you don't.

That's my $0.02...

It is "colored" people, NOT "black" people.
Just ask the NAACP!

But 'colored' isn't descriptive as all of us have a skin color. Mine is egg shell white. The guy next door is black. Down the street there might be a yellow.

This is not racism or any other ism to point this out..

Cultural sensitivity isn't pretending that there aren't differences between races and cultures, it's not pre-judging them .. and being willing to celebrity our rich diversity.

Agreed. But it is still kinda funny that the NAACP to
this day calls themselves that.

Many years ago, my very young son referred to a man as
that "brown man". I had to correct him to say "black man"
- it didn't make much sense to him (or me?).
But I explained that is just the way it is.

I am doing my best to train my children to judge others
by observing their actions & heart - NOT by the color of their
skin.

One of my first jobs was at Circuit City and it was probably 60/40 white black. Anyways, me and these two guys would always go hang outside and smoke, largely because there was never any customers. One time the other white guy commented to this black dude Earl "What's with your people and the handicapped parking spaces?" because pretty much every car that was ever in a handicapped parking space was some giant SUV with big rims and a fat black chick who would reach in the glovebox and hang a handicapped tag, walking right into the store clearly not handicapped. Earl says "I don't know, I guess we're just good at beating the system." The white guy says "Earl, I don't know that there's really a system to be beaten here. I don't think anyone is trying to prevent black people from getting all the good parking spaces by making them handicapped."

<-- Black

1. no idea, I didn't grow up in the US, in Jamaica we do it because there are no cross walks, not very many traffic lights, and basically if you don't walk out in front of cars and get them to stop you'll never get across the street.

2. Big women are healthy, thick, stacked, etc. etc. Not obese mind you, but Aria Giovanni, Coco or Briana Micheals or whatever her name is size women are where it's at (I figure you guys would do best with the porno references)... why white women? why not?

3. can't swim if there isn't ready access to water, even back home many people can't swim unless you are in the tourism business.

I am a white guy and I work with a black guy, so we talk all day about weird racial stuff. Our conversations are actually pretty enlightening. I figured i'd show him what an anonymous public might say about cultural differences.

Why do black teenagers tend to walk in front of a passing car? In my neighborhood black kids seem to stand in the middle of the road, and not get out of the way of oncoming cars. The white kids are always on the sidewalk. The kids in the road almost seem like they are acting like hard asses.

Black teens now days are so screwed up. But basically waking in the street is something girls started doing to get noticed(not knowing that they are looking like hookers). The boys just followed suit with their sagging ass pants(i still dont understand that).
Why do fairly svelt black men like big, fat white women? You would think that people with similar body types are attracted to each other, but you often see large white women with thin black men.

Please dont misinterpret a few black men with most. A black man will do whatever he has to do for survival. So in some cases it may be love but its more about money. Why can't black people swim?

Depends on if you were raised around a pool or access to one. Black women dont want to mess there hair up.

Three simple questions. Remember, these are all in fun and not meant to start a bunch of crap.
