Title fight - who do you think is going to win and why?

I Hope BJ Penn will pull it off, but I'm not sure how dedicated he is in his training, and whether he has the stamina to go the full distance.

St. Pierre definitely has the stamina and athletic ability, his fighting skills have drastically improved.

I am going to say PENN.

I am staying at the MGM in Vegas this week/weekend!!!! I leave WED!!!!! But, I am leaving 3-1/2 hours after the fight starts. I'm hoping to catch some of it.

I am saying GSP. He is an athlete that is very dedicated to his training. He's one hell of an athlete. He got cut BAAD in their first fight and didn't even act like it. He dominated BJ Penn in that fight and he's gonna do it again.

My close friend who trains BJJ 3 times a week, thinks BJ is getting this one, so we have friendly arguements about it all the time. He just throws me down and chokes me out though.... He's on his way to his purple belt....so I stand no chance.

I would like to see Penn win it, GSP is a good all around fighter and is very athletic. It should be a good fight, somebody is going to "Get knocked the fuck out" for sure...

I must had been watching another fight because there is no way that GSP dominated that fight. Did you see both fighters after the fight? GSP had a broken nose and was full of blood. He did win the fight but it was a close one that could had gone either way.

I say for the rematch that GSP will take it if he pushes the pace early and gases BJ Penn out. If GSP tries to stand and bang with BJ then it is lights out for GSP.

I am taking BJ Penn for this fight.

BJ's great at 155...I don't see him winning this one.

However looking at BJ's record again...I never knew he beat Renzo and Rodrigo Gracie..AND Gomi when he was near his peak! He lost to Machida while weighing 187 to Machida's 215... WTF does BJ Penn look like at 187?!

Ahhhh, thats a tough one. Both are good fighters. I think BJ has improved alot but I think GSP might get this one. If Pierre can gas Penn out he'll probably come out on top. One little slip for either of them though and it could be over quick . Whoever wants it most....

I never saw their first fight until last week when it was on Spike. I knew they fought before, but I didn't know who won. When the fight was over I knew it was GSP and it was. I don't know why BJ looked so surprised. Yeah GSP had a broken nose and was bloody, but that doesn't mean a thing. That didn't even affect him.

I'm putting a bet on GSP while I'm there. I wish I would have know that fight was on Saturday, but I booked my trip well before. Oh well, what are you gonna do? :dunno:

It didn't affect him?? GSP himself said that he was having trouble breathing. He had never experienced that and it was hard for him to adjust. Also you said in your earlier post that he got dominated. Which is not true.
