Some assholes stole wheels off of my wifes Fusion last night so I had to call U WIN to come and tow it to the dealer. Driver that was here made sure there was no more damage to the car then what was already done by the useless filth that stole the rims. Cops were able to pull some finger prints from the car but if the asshole is not in the system it probably wont go no where. Not holding my breath. Only upside to the story is the lease is up in January and the wife hates the car even more now. Already refuses to drive it after when its fixed so Matt at Varsity will be getting a call soon.

Do cops do anything with prints? Honestly didn't even think they would come out and take a report. Figured they would tell you to come in...
 
We had 22 sets of wheels stolen from our lot. And the Troy cops found them! You can read the TPM's if you think you have found the wheels/Perp.

Wheels were junk anyhow cause the clear coat has pealed off. Dealer was gonna replace them anyhow but now its gonna cost me $500 deductible.
 
My boss's son's friend got the wheels stolen from his Focus right in front of my boss's house in Plymouth last weekend. The tow truck driver that came to get the car said that "they" got 11 cars in the area that night.

Bunch of savages in this town.

Are old peeling wheels worth crap?
What do "they" do with ratty old wheels?

I would hope that something along the lines of catalytic convertors goes on at scrapyards.
If someone brings in 100 set of "scrap" wheels that are off of fairly new cars, it should raise a flag....

I'm curious though, why did your wife not like the car?
 
glad to here you were taking care of!!! just crazy cause we see this every day. my next door neighbor just got there stolen few weeks ago!

Im willing to bet they nab them for the tires... wheels are secondary.

One time when I was working at a dealer 22 sets of wheels got stolen. By this time everyone at the dealer knew I thought like a criminal and they brought me in to help figure out how they did it lol. It was me the 3 owners, the gm and the plymouth police, going over how I would do it. Hahah
 
That sucks! It's happening a lot lately.

This was mine in June. Happened in the middle of the day in a large/busy parking lot at my work. Detroit PD didn't bother to come out. The report was made over the phone.

 
Yeah I live in Warren 12 and mound rd area. That same night they hit about a dozen cars in my sub alone. Dodge caravans for the navigation systems, ford for rims etc....My kids babysitter lives in Sterling Hts. 15 and Mound. That same night they hit 3 cars on her street alone. This weekend I'm installing cameras, security lights and cleaning out the garage so I can fit both of my cars. From what I hear its not only a warren problem its wide spread in the whole tri county so lock your stuff up!
 
One of the managers at work stolen off the m plate Lincoln mkz test car he was driving while it was parked in his driveway
