Well I was playing around out on gratiot today in my camaro and I blew up the 10 bolt. Got some teeth off the pinion..... I called You Win for the tow home... Thanks... Scott at Driveline Solutions built the rear end in 2008. My 1998 10 bolt was upgraded to a 2 series "thick" 3.73 Richmond gear I bought off craigslist. Solid pinion spacer installed. In Fall 2012 I replaced the rear axle main bolts with studs....

So I got 5 years out of this rear end. Should I rebuild it or spend the big bucks and go 8.8, 12 bolt, or 9"? Car makes 430 RWHP though a 3600 stall and 4l60e. Street tires are Nitto drag radial 315/17..... Track tires are 16X8 ET streets

Does Scott still build rear axles? Is his phone # same as in the banner that was posted on here? What do you guys think of this for a start:

scott still does it. he used to sell housings too. i dont like the 8.8 mounts and the 12 bolts suck. 9 inch

Go with a 9" and you won't ever have to worry about it again, unless you significantly increase your power level. If you don't have a good torque arm and LCA's, get them!

Quick peformance only offers 4 chanel ABS as an option... My car has 3 chanel... They do not offer that. I think Moser does though.... Price is definatly a factor here
