Looks way better than the SS and will had it its ass anyday. :)

You get what you pay for, in that respect spend some more on the srt-8 and lights still out.

Plus looks a hell of alot better :)

My still a jeep comment refers to the poor quality of the Grand Cherokee/Cherokee lineup, that is all

It is a nice looking ride, but having known people who work in area service departments, I've heard the worst from those vehicles compared to others by GM/Ford hands down. That is basis for my comment. I'd take the cheaper and maybe slower Trailblazer SS over that every day, just my $.02

Its fifteen grand more, a couple thousand into a tbss and lights out

Bone stock ss poop blazer, 84 degree, 150 wet kit, AWD, 12.83 @ 106.75

Bone stock, 06 SRT8 T/B ( NO TUNE, PAPER FILTER) 91 Degree day. 100 WET KIT, 12.44 @ 111

Stock to stock, it is not a race. If its 30 outside, the trailblazer may run a low 14 stock, AWD. In the heat, you better not race a Hemi Ram......... Jeffs Jeep, at Milan, on a hot summer day went 13.23 at over 105 with NO mods at all. The only way I could beat his SRT8, is if I was on the bottle. If not, he would put 3 on me before the 100 ft mark. That was with a tune from vector at 323 to all 4 tires.

I do agree with you about adding very few mods to make it out run the jeep, the trouble with that is, you start breaking things that the dealer will not fix once they see it had a converter or a tune in it, plus witout a converter, the SS will not, no matter who says it will, with just a tune, out run a SRT8 JEEP. I will bet 500 on that. Id much rather break a jeep stock, than break a SS and have to spend 2 days putting it back to stock so I can take it to the dealer.

I run your time on motor with my ss, so with a 150 wet i'll definitely be in the 11's with my truck.

JEEP SRT <<<<<< MY SS

^ good info.

ownage. its just a better performance suv :)

6.1 > *

There is no doubt the jeep is faster stock to stock, but the 15k more is the ticket. If you have the money, sweet. But i'm a cheap guy so i'll buy the cheaper truck and eat up those 50k Jeeps.

I agree. Your truck went a bottom 13 with a converter, tune and some other little things. the 2 wheel drive and that converter are HUGE. You should run in the high 11s with some spray, that is if the trans doesnt come out at the 60 ft!!!! LOL. I have a kit at the house for that truck, lets toss it on and see how she runs!!!!

The first time at the track it went 13.06, then the next time it went 12's. A converter similar to the jeeps wake the SS trucks up. The srt8 comes with a 2800, so i put the same one in my truck and it runs BETTER than an SRT.
