Best suv out there!

Nice vid!

I own both an AWD TBSS and 2wd TBSS - night and day difference between the two.

2wd, tune and converter will make a HUGE difference on the 2wd TBSS.

GCSRT8 is definitely nice, but also come with a $50K price tag. I picked up my 2007 TBSS 2wd for under $30K out the door, 0% financing and 5 yr / 100K mile warranty - that why I went the route that I did.

SRT8 has smaller aftermarket following too, so mods are necessarily plentiful. TBSS has a much bigger aftermarket considering they share some drivetrain items with the F-body, Vette and GTO.

It's not an SUV but this will give you an idea what the guys should be aiming for from the current 4x4 truck record holder.. :D

Great info.

What are the performance differences between your two Trailblazers stock and otherwise?

2006 AWD has a Chris White (GTPrix) tune before he went to work for Vector. Other than that, it's all stock. The tune is pretty mild but we wanted it that way.

2007 2wd currently has Livernois dyno tune and true dual exhaust. I ordered up the Flowmaster 2.5" mandrel bend kit, a Magnaflow dual in/out muffler with internal x-pipe and some 3.5" Magnaflow tips. It came out 100% better than the wannabe dual SLP and Borla kits for $1,000 at less than half the price. I ordered all my parts from www.performancepeddler.com and it was less than $500 shipped.

I have a Vigilante 3200 rpm stall from Ridings, along with a set of efans out of a camaro from LTLHomer. Have the plug n play efan harness on order along with a Transgo shift kit and tranny cooler. I want all the part here before I begin the install. A 3200-3600 rpm stall is good for 0.3 to 0.5 sec on the 1/4, and efans are proven good for 15-18 rwhp. (see www.pcmforless.com for info).

Between just the Livernois dyno tune, the duals and the weight savings (2wd vs awd) my wife even noticed the difference driving the two. Dan did a great job tuning my TBSS.

The Jeeps are one $50k, well not even if you load them up, and the TBSS isnt 30k with awd, leather nave all the shit to thats a cloth 2wd base so you guys can shut up about the price. The Jeeps are very nice, I work at a Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealer and the one tech had a TBSS, the Jeep was so much nicer and faster, and I would defintely get one of those anyday and I am a Ford guy so I have no bias. I just built both vehicles and the TBSS with same options as the jeep was 43,800 and the Jeep was 48,470 so its about 5k more but you get more power and a better looking vehicle IMHO.

Ok, well you can get gm discount which is like 5k off of the trailblazer and from what i hear you can't get any discounts on that jeep. Well even if your not able to obtain discount you still have 5k to put in a Trailblazer to whoop that jeeps ass. As a matter of fact i do that with a few hundred bucks in mine.
