Belle Tire Sucks

Your tires are in by the way. Not to hijack your thread.

If you want some help feel free to bring it to me I work in the brighton store. What wheels do you have maybe I can give you some advise if you dont want to drive it up.

PM the price. I don't want to :faint:

its not just belle tire. its 99.9% of tire stores. if they have to remove/reinstall wheels to repair, take it to a reputable shop. or if you need new tires and they have the best deal. take the tires off, borrow a truck and take them up there.

its amazing now these idiots can stay in business. well..... job security i guess. :shake:

some one should inform these tire changers that there's this FANCY new invention called a TORQUE WRENCH. and no, that doesn't involve running the lugs down with an impact untill you've varified that they, in fact, are tight.

SNUG THE LUG NUTS WITH A RACHET THEN HIT THEM WITH A TORQUE WRENCH! lol it doesn't seem worth it to me when the customer has to come back so you can fix your fuck ups. thats like spending money instead of making it.

**sorry, this topic hits a nerve**

belle tire crack one of my ET slots my dad had since the 60's

it dont leak air or anything but....ya....its there.......

I really just need to vent right now...
Well after shelling out a cool $650,
I will never go back to Belle Tire ever again...which is difficult because I have spent close to $5000 with them over the last three years...

Ahhh, relief!
:monkeyfk:

my friend and new member on this board is a salesman at belle35 in dearborn, on michigan ave. Chris aka "00saleen", the techs there dont make shit, like $10 on a alignment and $20 on a pad and rotor change.

Funny thing is, it's the shops that advertise a brake service for $59.99. They will throw a $5.00 set of brake pads on there and machine the crap out of a rotor no matter how far under spec it already is. But heck, you got a great deal right? Just wait a month or two until it starts pulsating. There is no doubt at Belle Tire our brake jobs aren't cheap as is in this case here with the Denali, but it's the quality of the pads and american made brake rotors that makes this price as high as it is. Labor isn't expensive, $60.00 to save you the customer alot of your own time. We also offer a liftetime warranty on our pads. Ask the dealership how long they will warranty their pads. 1 year at most, never seen longer than that. I've had a hand full of customers that had a bad experience with us which is bound to happen no matter who you deal with, but they give us a second chance and are extremely happy. So you have the names of two people here that work at Belle Tire and if willing to give us a second chance call one of us.
As for the wheel lock issue and the center cap issue there isn't much that can be said for that. They should have dealt with it no questions asked and had you out the door quickly. Should have never dragged on like this.

Thanks

FYI ... I work in the service dept. @ a Dodge dealer & we have lifetime warranty brake pads.

Just so you know bro. I know alot of non-dealer shops knock dealers. But to be honest I worked @ Belle Tire 48 & 50 for 4 years & the dealer i'm @ now prices is almost always the same or close to it.

At most the pads and rotors shop cost $150, and thats being OVER generous...100% mark up + $60 labor...Balance a couple of tires = $400?....Counter guy's work on commision?....
just asking

Pads & rotors were much more then that. If I remember Jeff telling me they had to be bought from the dealer cuz his vehicle is a new model. There were no after market parts avl. yet. I'm sure the market them up alot too !!!

When I worked there we were on commision but not for brakes just tires & a few other items.

Never knocked the dealership my friend. Never knocked your parts or the work you guys do. We all do the same type of work. Price of parts, probably pretty close. Heck sometimes we have to use the dealer for parts. Just trying to reason with people on here. This isn't toward you, but for balancing 24's, I wouldn't do it cheap if it was brought to my store either. There is some work involved in balancing those.

For me id beg to differ. I've been doing tires & wheels for over 10 years & to be honest with you I don't think 24's are that hard. It's just another way to charge more money. Shit I know how it is I was in that bizz bro. But i'm speaking for myself. Maybe other people have that much of a hard time doing them. Just my 2 cents !!!!!!
