Beast of a bitch barstool racer

So is the right brake lever the throttle?

Yes. Eventually they will have a red and green marking on each to distinguish them. I did a conventional twist grip on one I had, but as it pulled, it would pull you backward making you twist the throttle more. This is just easier to get out of the throttle.

Are you still running the stock flywheel? I think I have a brand new aluminum one for that motor that I didn't use.

A few updates for this week. My son had this little license plate that we bought him for his bike when he was a little guy and he wanted to put it on the barstool. We made a frame out of some aluminum material and polished it up. 007.JPG008.JPG

Found these laser cut stainless flames on Ebay. Formed them around the steering column and will later tip them in blue to match the color of the frame.014.JPG

011.JPG012.JPG I swapped out the plastic brake lines for these stainless lines and fittings. I like the look of the stainless lines and fittings better.

Starting the tear down to finish weld the frame, paint, power coat and polish everything for the final assembly. More pictures to come as parts are completed!!

So I found this guy in Texas that is casting his own valve covers for these small 6.5HP Honda engines and bought one! Much better than trying to pretty up the stock one.002.JPG

I also was able to get the nitrous bottle and brackets polished up. Pictures are not doing them any justice. 003.JPG

If that second picture doesnt do it justice, I'd love to see them in person. Damn nice work.

I'd be the envy of the neighborhood with that monster.
