I work in Ann Arbor. Been doin' the commute for 11years. We're moving to New Boston.

We had water delivered until the city lines came through. Trucked water sucked.

Is the area not good for a well? U usually see city sewer before city water.

Sure you can tap wells, plenty of people have them around here. Without a filtration system the water quality is very poor- sulfur, etc. It's really f'ing bad around Huron, Exeter, and Ash Townships that many people have holding tanks and haul in or have water delivered.

I want to be West, not South of where I am now. Since the border has been moved from Inkster to Middlebelt, it's only a matter of time before it's Merriman, then Farmington. I want to keep moving West to keep in front of the scum. Poor Livonia, it use to be such a nice city to raise a family in, now it's being taken over. :shake:

This does sound like the perfect home/barn/land! Damn it, why can't it be on North Terr. and Gotfredson!!!!!

GLWS, I'm sure it will make some car guy a happy man.
 
This is the only place, virtual and real world, I have it advertised. We close on the new house Friday. I hired an appraiser and our appointment is tomorrow AM. If the appraised value is far less than our principal balance we'll rent it out.

Thanks for the compliment. Yea, giving up the barn will be tough. Dirty work will be done at the FIL's barn. Eventually I'll create a garage-mahal/man cave.

In other news- my February gas bill was $68. Thermostat was set at 68*- no fireplace only the gas furnace and water heater. Dryer and stove hookup is electric.
 
Preemptive bump pending tenants moving out at the end of April. Wife and I would rather sell than rent. Post will be updated after I have 2013 appraisal results.

Trunk- you (still) need this house. :-)
