Tip for anyone that wants to get into ceramic coating..........

WEAR GLOVES!!!!

Tonight, I didnt have my HLVP paint gun attached to the liquid canister tight enough, and the second I hit the trigger, ceramic coat came out all over my hands.

It DOES NOT come off. I tried everything. Industrial soap, lacquer thinner, brake cleaner. Nothing helps. AND.....It smells horrible. Even after I scrubbed with all that stuff. I'm screwed for the next few days. My hands look like the tin man from the Wizard of Oz.

Yeah yeah yeah...go ahead, Mike (347convert). I know you'll be in here sooner or later laughing at me.

Note to self: Install a web cam in the D-nasty shop and put it on the web, charge people to watch it, make millions......

red scotch pad and medium reducer (not lacquer thinner) will get 85% of it off, scrubbing your hands in mineral spirits is very unhealthy you should really get in a habit of wearing gloves man.
I hate to preach to you but I've been in the paint industry a long time and I've seen a lot of people get messed up from not taking proper safety precautions (respirator, gloves, glasses) liver failure or nervous system breaking down isn't the way I want to go.

x2, I probably see someone at work do this once a day, and it blows my mind every time. I always wear gloves when using it.
