I would have to add right and left side, so I would need to put them in the pipes right after the exhaust manifolds. That way it can read both banks separately. Will the o2 sensors live in that high temp environment?
Heats not and issue Fluids are make sure you arent puking any water/anti-freeze from the engine for whatever reason or oil from the Turbo that will kill the O2. Also is this a street car or moreso race car because most guys use just one O2 right near the Turbo's downpipe before they split it into duals if you were going that route. You use that one sensors data for the whole engine than you have to read the plugs after a pass or a pull for individual cylinder tuning.
I would also ask the tuner...might have a better idea of what they need so that it is a happy driver.Street car so drive-ability is a major concern. The engine is basically stock and I would love to stay very street friendly.
my o2's where turned off with the Twins...
the 02s are never really shut off. Its the diagnostic that can be shut off so the service engine light doesnt come on when u unplug them. You can run the car either way. Car will drive better on the street with em hooked up.Thanks, I think I will try and have it tuned without the o2's
