I'm taking my car to the ring once the weather breaks!
Obviously you live in a fantasyland. One in which everything you type must be true. You think all of that stuff is just an accident? You think it was a coincidence that they announced the horsepower of the GT500 on the day the ZL1 was announced? That is was just blind luck that the gearing allowed the GT500 to go to 60 before shifting? That Ford just decided to keep their track times secret? Are you fucking kidding me?
Does anyone know of a language that brick walls understand?
They announced the hp because of the cars introduction at the LA Auto Show. That was November 15, 2011. Chevrolet introduced the ZL1 at the Chicago auto show. That was February 9th, 2011. So except for the fact that you're totally fucking clueless about the timeline for the intros for the cars and off by about ten months, you're totally right. I guess Ford should have called GM and said "Can you guys pick a date prior to the launch of our soon-to-be-available car where we can talk about it without sending you into butthurt open letter writing mode?"
You're just gonna ignore the "no releases about 0-60" thing forever because it debunks both your dumbass theories. I told you why the car has the long gearing, and you can read SVT staff saying the same thing. What you can't read is them babbling in a press release about the 0-60 time you and Al simulate all over each other about. In any case, your criticism has no point. 0-60 is the smallest of the ass rapings a GT500 gives an Al-Mobile. Are you gonna roll with "Durr, the gt500 is only so powerful because Ford wanted to make it fast!" next?
Do yourself a favor and loosen your Oppenheiser edition mom jeans. They are cutting off the blood flow to your brain.
This is why I'm a Mopar guy. We're slow and don't care.
I wouldn't say I dislike it but I would say I like the 2010 - 2012 much better. The 2013 still hasn't grown on me.Am I the only one that dislikes the 2013 Mustang front fascia?

All I can say is that it sure takes an aweful lot of words to counter what I can put in once sentence. Science says that if you have two solutions, generally the simplest one is true. I am going with science on this one.

I agree.
Science:
February 9th ≠ November 15th
He was actually using the Oppenheiser Theorem, in which unrelated dates and events are always directly correlated to ZL1 Ring Times.
Who the fuck cares about GM's press release? This is gonna come as a shock to you, but when auto manufacturers are at car shows, they talk about the products they have at those shows. Ford introduced the GT500 at the LA Auto Show, which is one of the most important auto shows in the world. So, they talked about the GT500 at...the LA Auto Show. This is a crazy concept, I know. Next time, I'll recommend to Ford that when they introduce a car at an auto show that was planned months in advance, don't actually disclose any factual information about it unless you've checked with GM to make sure they won't be butt hurt about it potentially trumping any news GM has. I mean, are you serious dude?
You are really grasping for straws.
"It has nothing to do with the major international car show, and everything to do with upsetting the fat man in the mom jeans!" GTFO.
Even with the most powerful production V8 in the world, the 2013 Shelby GT500 improves on the fuel efficiency of the 2012 model with an EPA-estimated 15 mpg city, 24 mpg highway and 18 mpg combined with no gas guzzler tax. That’s 5 mpg better on the highway than the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 even with an extra 82 horsepower and 75 lb.-ft. being generated under the hood.
Shouldn't the title of this thread be changed back due to Geoffs ignorance?
