Anyone want to move to FL

I've lived here for 5 months now and love it. I have a 4th bedroom I may rent out if anyone is wanting to move down. I'm in Ocala FL.

if you are prior military its easy to get a job

I work on Pavelows trust me they are just as tempermental as cars and if its not working the first thing we do is hit it with a wrench or hammer

I also cant count how many times ive said and heard we can make it work

I used to live in Jacksonville, FL over on the east side of the state. Loved it there. Jobs all around plus you can find preety descent apartments. I was paying $509 a month on a 925 sq ft appt with one bedroom one bath and huge living room/dining room, right on the St. Johns river.

There is no way you could get an apartment for that much in south Florida now. Maybe in the north, but I don't know.

I lived outside of Fort Lauderdale. I've been back in Michigan for 1 1/2 years and I couldn't be happier....well except for the economy here :pissed:

The key words you used were Fort Lauderdale!. While $509 might be a little low, $600 to $650 might not be out of the question. For $1095 I have a new two bedroom townhouse with large bedrooms, 1-1/2 bath, and 1 car garage. The housing market is bad enough that there are some deals to be had. Not too many having to deal with hurricane reconstruction anymore.

Hell here in Ocala for $1,000 I have a 2,200 sq. ft. 4 bd 2bath with attached garage. This house is also brand spankin new noone else has ever lived here. If I was to buy a house the monthly payment would be way cheaper. You get way much more for your money down here. In Michigan for $1,000 we had a 3 bedroom old as dirt house.
