It was at one of the NO E.T. races, NOV. 1st. I haven't seen a turbo setup like this before.

Draw thru..? How have you never seen that before ..

Thats how most set-up weres done when the first carb turbo cars came out.. take a look at the VW scene most those guys still run set-ups like that.

I want to see more pics. Like where is the downpipe routed. I imagine his IAT's are high with no meth or intercooler. So I'm sure it could be better. Definitely is different though.

Plenty of OEM cars had no intercooler back in the day and they still worked fine, plus because it's carb'd, the ACT is not that bad, the fuel helps cool it. Not many people use draw through anymore, but it does work.

So, in that setup is fuel sent through the compressor along with the incoming air? Or is the fuel added after the turbo somehow? Based on what I can see, it looks like fuel would have to go through the compressor.

The fuel goes through the compressor, just like all the old roots blown cars with the carbs on top of the blower. You don't need a special forced induction carb, it just acts like a bigger motor.

The early Ford turbo 2.3's were like that too. I would assume the first turbo Buick's were draw through as well but don't know that to be fact.
