That method has been proven to make power, for example Turbo bugs use the same basic set up. carb before turbo.

I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and say the original poster was referring to the TURBO OUTLET MOUNTED TO THE INTAKE.

No I havent seen anything like that. I know the new GM deisel the turbo is close to that.
