That cam will work much better in the 357. P heads will be a bigger cork than on the 302 but the extra duration will help a bit.

yea i realize the heads are gonna hold me back right now. in the spring time id like to put some nice hiports on the motor and a vic jr intake but for now thats what i got..lol

I haven't followed this thread much, but here is the 302 I just had at Lidio day:
Stock long block,
F cam
Vic. Jr intake
1.6 RR's
GT40P heads(untouched)
750 Holley
On a 150 shot it went 11.03 @ 121mph.... It had a little more in it but I popped the head gaskets on the last run. 60' was 1.41 C4 w/ T-brake

damn thats a suprising setup. thats pretty much exactly what im looking for. i may switch over to a roller motor. ive already got .550" lift springs for a roller.

After all the years I messed w/ flat tappets....if you've got the stuff to do it go roller.
