well, what size spacer would make it sit more flush? you dont think they are 18x10.5's? I mean what is a normal bs to make the wheels sit flush?

I allready have a built rear going in with longer stud thru nuts.

Seldom are wheels 18x10.5. They could be but I doubt it.

Normal BS on a 10"-10.5" wheel is 6.5". So you would need a 1/2" spacer.

you think judging by the pics of my car on page 1 a 1/2" will do? that should also make it stop rubbing on my exhaust, and i could run a 305 instead of my 295's..

using a 1/2 spacer safe?

Judging by the pics is tough to see. If you want to mock it up (which is what I would do) make a spacer out of wood real quick and test fit it.

Your car doesn't make enough power for them not to be safe :cheers:

Seriously though.....street tires will never get enough traction to worry about running a spacer, no matter how much power you make.

Doesn't matter, street tires or drag radials. My point is you can never get enough traction on the street to worry about it. Even at the track on drag radials you will be fine. Just run a good 1/2" stud that is 3" or so.

Also.....if you want to run a wider tire, move your wheels out and lower your car more you are going to have to roll your fender lips (if they are not already). You hit a bump or launch the car at the track and I guarantee you are going to rub/cut a tire.

I would mock it up but the rear it out of the car. waiting to drop it off to get worked on.

How about if i use a spacer, lower it a bit more and run the same 295's?

i just looked, i have 2 10mm spacers, and 2 25mm. they arent traditional type though. they're project kics.

you bolt on the spacer, cut the existing stud flush, then mount the wheel.

hahaha, thats EXACTLY what i've been trying to tell him this entire time. he wants to go wider, and lower. it aint happening. :lol:

I bought Gregs wheels and started doing a little house cleaning.

I had two sets of black Saleen replicas, and I am down to one now..... I bought some 03 anny wheels and am kicking around the idea of selling these.

Jon has room to go lower and wider. There is a certain Cobra running a much wider tire, and is much lower.

Jon, if you want, Ill shoot over and Ill help you mock it up.
