Gotta 92 mustang 5.o 5 speed car I think it has a bigger cam but not sure bought the car and put it all together but car drives fine when u drive it for a couple miles and when u come to a stop sign it wants to stall out. I had a post up a while ago and everyone said change or clean the idle air control valve so I replaced it with a new one and still did the same thing and so I adjusted the idle screw up and it still does it but it takes a little longer before it stalls. Saturday I drove it and went a about 3 miles and it ran fine and then on my way back I got almost home stopped at stop sign and went around corner and car stalled out and then I tried to start it and it cranked hard and wouldnt start so I pushed it to the side of the road and cranked hard again but it started barely... started it sunday and it rolls over like normal.. I dont understand it so any help is appreciated in advance....

I think there is a reset procedure when you replace your Idle Air Control (IAC). Did you perform this?

Secondly, check your fuel pressure at idle and while driving.

Start the car and let it idle. Look for leaking vacuum lines. Spray started fluid around vacuum hoses and wiggle them to see if they are cracked. RPM'S should change.

They also make a small adjustable plate that you put between the IAC and TB. Its got some bleed screws to adjust idle. Or some people have luck with using a plate that has a smaller hole drilled into it.

I changed my throttle body and cold air kit and had this same problem last year. I find out that the idle screw was set to zero opening and the iac needed to be cleaned. Also had to rotate the maf sensor to allow the air flow to cross it properly. I still have this problem but only when I turn the car of and start it back up without letting it cool off completely. Like when running into a store. The car did this before I bought it and the pervious owner said that it was part of the cam swap. I also have a E303 cam, so if you figure the problem out, please post up your solution.

I sure will because its a pain in the ass to deal with i do know that....

I had an e303 in my car and daily drove it for 2 years, year round. I also had the IAC bypass plate install though. Are you guys running stock injector and MAF setups or no?

I have 24 injectors with matching maf. Check fuel pressure its perfect, zero vacuum leaks, new tps, iac, egr valve, checked timing, new plugs. Its driving me nuts
