90 Notchback Coyote Project

I bought a real clean Notch from Vegas. I just got a new Coyote Motor for the swap. Has anyone in here done this conversion yet? I want to run power steering, power brakes and A/C. I am starting to pile up the parts now. Its gonna be a long project. Taking it to Reiters soon for the cage.

I don't think so, no one seems to have done it, and you have to have a separate computer and the shifter would be further back. I think I will run an auto though. I will probably need your help to mock it up, once I get everything together

Did you pick the motor up used or is that a crate engine? How much did you pick it up for if u dont mind me asking?
 
Sweet swap ! Is that a crate engine or take out ? (looks like a take out with all the accessories).

How are you planning on controlling the engine ? The FRPP Engine Control pack ?

5 sp or 6 sp manual trans wouldn't need anything else. You could use any transmission from a modular engine car.

I am going to use a FRPP control pack, Its so much easier. I wanted to run a 6 speed auto, but I think I will end up with AODE
 
I'm in the middle of this swap right now, what did you use for kmember? I'm assuming bbk swap headers? For power steering/brakes I picked up a hydroboost unit from a newer cobra (96-04) and ford sells the bracket to bolt the pump up to the block. Only problem then would be A/C.

For trans I went tko600, wanted a t56 magnum, but the price difference couldnt swap me to drop an extra grand for the price difference of the two transmissions.

I am going to use team z k member. Yeah I am going to run hydroboost too. Sean hyland makes a bracket to run power steering and keep the a/c. I think I am going to do that. I am going to use a 4R70W auto for my trans. I just started this project it will be a while
 
A couple guys/shops have done the swap over on SVTperformance.com, I think one still has AC!
I know for sure in the pics&video section you can find one of the threads with some pics.
 
I have the team Z stuff as well, great pieces. Hoping to get that in the car over the next few weeks so I can start moving the piling boxes of parts in my basement into the car.
