87-93 Hi Amp Alternator

Give me your old one... I will send it out and have them rebuild it and have them wind the coil real nice around the stator for ya... ;)

Reiko, I may have to take you up on this...are mustang gauges really bad, when my car is idling the battery gauge gets down to about 1/4 of the way, even lower with lights on, but goes to about halfway when Im driving...it looks new too. id like to get it redone and throwin some juice

Also one thing you can do is change out the ground in the car to a bigger gauge and taking a bigger power wire from the back of the ALT straight to the battery... That will help a lot...

can you get any 1 wire's for a 87-93?
 
Just use the newer style alternators out of the t-birds or whatever else they came in, I think mark8's. There 120 amps, takes about five minutes to notch the bracket and re-wire for them.

Plus you can pick them up in the j-yard for 20 bucks and just rebuild it with a brush and diode tree kit for 35... then its like new
