8.8 C-clip elim vs. 9" end question..

Does anyone know what the width difference is between a c-clip eliminator vs. a 9" end? I'm going to be narrowing the rearend and want to make sure I get it right...

Buy a kit that uses 9inch ends. Best way to go about it.

I believe the 8.8, and 9" new style both use a 2.50" offset. The 9" old style uses a 2.36". The dimensions refer to the axle mounting face to the axle housing end mounting face

IMO. thats the only way to go. Did that to mine, cost is about the same, but the end result is a 100 times better

Thanks..this is what I was looking for. I was runnin c-clip elims, but am going 9" ends while narrowing so I wanted to know if I needed to take any differences into account.
