just picked it up last night in the spure of the moment...

4cyl auto .. has motor problems hasnt ran in 3 years blah blah blah

soild as a rock! minus the driver door its rusty on the bottom

plans... umm try to get it runni nthis weekend...if i suceed throw some ponys on it an ride.. maybe sell maybe 302 who knows... i never keep anything to long lol

bout time too bad you didnt hang onto any of those 302s u had! let me know whats wrong with it big homie put a v8 and race my omni...hahah
 
lol thanx chubbs... i went and picked up those ponys i was tellin u about today should look sweet on them!

also picked up a new starter today for it so ima try to turn it over here in a little bit!
 
i got it fired today.... only can get it runnin on starting fluid.. so ima check the fuel system... problem is the starter stays hung up... can i use shims on this starter??
 
so0o0o0o figured out the griding problem...

trans wasnt bolted to the motor?? but now that it is i cant turn it over at the crank with a wrench....any ideas?!?

get a bigger wrench/put a pipe on the end of it:thinkerg::cheers:... is it a stick or manual, try putting it in neutral... the trans is jacked up...

wellllll a stick and a manual are the same steve!! but its an auto ..tried the neutral still nothing... losend up the bolts 2 the trans it in spins again... sooooo trans is locked id guess?

damn it, you got me... maybe i should proof read huh:rocketwho... thats really weird... maybe the trans and motor isnt aligning properly and is cocked a little... if the input shaft is still inserted into the converter thats the only thing i can think of because if the trans was locked up it wouldnt spin at all then even if the bolts were loose

well im waitin to hear back.... i got parts from a guy off a wrecked gt a few months back an i offerd him a lowball on the rest of the car sooo will see how that goes... thing is it comes with ponys..black interior.. sooo ill be sellin the ponys i got today prolly plus the black interior..which should fund some of the swap money

if that dont happen ill find a trans

or sell the dam notch :(
