2016 Ram Parkview camera

I love my dodges, but I will gladly admit their grasp of electronics BLOWS. Out of the 3 Dodges I've had 2 have had moronic issues with their electronics. The Ram got traded in because I was sick of dealing with them. My Durango radio/camera makes me want to punch baby Jesus. Had it in the shop 3 times. One time they replaced it with a new radio and now it's having other problems. The outlier is my Charger. The Charger has a different radio than the SUV/Trucks it seems. It's not as flashy, but seems to not have nearly the problems.

Im surprised Chrysler headquarters hasn't burned down do to faulty wiring.........

My 2015 Ram 2500 I bought it new last February. It has been at the dealer for 2 weeks tomorrow, for a issue with the 4x4. The tech is sure there was some bad parts in the transfer case. Luckily one of those parts is way on backorder, so they will put in a brand new T-case. Sad thing is, the 4x4 has been used maybe 3 times. I have never taken it off road, its only been used on slick roads.

During the winter over certain bumps the front suspension is very clunky. There is also a issue with the transmission, but it doesn't happen enough for them to find the issue. At lease I have not reported it. I hope it makes it until 99,xxx miles.

Over the summer, I attempted to trade it in on a corvette. At that point with the discount at time of purchase and payments. I was sitting at a little over 10k below sticker. I was ok to looses a little more, but they came back another 10k under that. The sales rep actually apologized before he even told me. He said the resale on Chrysler products SUCK!!

So now I'll just hurry up and get it paid off, or maybe I'll find a way to get rid of it and not loose my ass so bad.

Oh and while they have had my truck, I've been driving a 2015 Ram 1500 4x4. I feel like I'm driving a late 90's ranger or s-10. I'm guessing the only way they can sell those trucks is due to the 5.7 Hemi. They must have it tuned out, to give it a little "awe factor"

Resale sucks on them due to cheap leasing incentives

With sub $1.50/gal gas those cheap lease incentives will not be around to much longer on trucks.
For Ram they absolutely will. Ram cannot decide to come out and start charging hundreds of dollars more on a lease. They've made the cheap leases their thing. The build quality everyone here has described is in direct correlation to the cost to lease the vehicle. Cheap dodge/chrysler leases arent gonna go away. People leasing them i believe know that. They have "throw away" vehicle is what i like to call them. Dodge ram trucks, chrysler 300 cars. Everyones got uhm, cheap junk.

I love my Charger and my mom loves her 300. I would definitely not classify them as throw away cars. When comparing with their competitors, the Ford and GM products feel cheap and underpowered. There really is no American real comparison for the Charger and 300 though.

Gm are just a cheap as dodge and they are way underpowered with their trucks unless you get the 6.2L the 5.3 has been around forever you would think they would come out with a new motor to compete with Ford and dodge heck that 5.3 is barely comparable to ford's 2.7 ecoboost in the f150 that's a damn shame if you ask me.

It's still a 5.3 right? They came out in 1999 I'm sure they changed something small every year but it's still a 5.3

That's almost like calling Ford's Coyote 5.0 the same as a pushrod 5.0 because it shares displacement. On the new 5.3, direct injection is new which isn't exactly a small change. I also believe variable valve timing is new but not sure if it was on the older engines. They also have a higher compression ratio. I also remember reading some GM article that only a few parts were the same

You should have opened your wallet up just a tad more and stepped up to a Taurus SHO,.....or at least considered one. My son's Charger RT is fairly unimpressive.

Sorry to burst your bubble.....

uhh, yeah you're comparing a car that starts at 40k to a car that starts at 33k. What do you expect?

If we're stepping up into that price range, compare it to the scat pack and then talk to me.

Personally, I prefer the styling and feel of the RT super track pack to the new SHO. I've driven both, and the SHO is not that impressive.

Bring that sho my charger will put a ass beating on it guaranteed and it's cheaper. My charger hurt a few new 5.0 mustangs feelings that were not stock this summer and my car is bone stock. Dodge has best bang for buck on most of there products.
