2016 Ram Parkview camera

Got my parents a new truck last monday. I drove it to their house and it had 15 miles on it. The first time they drove it Friday the camera worked. On the way home it says camera not available. I just went through all of the setup screens and nothing. Any ideas. Lens is clean

Blue screen or black? Check to see if the power tailgate lock works. Maybe the tailgate was never plugged in all the way

Open the tailgate and firmly shut it. Does the camera show anything different or is the blue screen still displayed?

The connector is between spare tire and bed. There should be a dummy plug in the glove box for if the gate is ever removed

I love my dodges, but I will gladly admit their grasp of electronics BLOWS. Out of the 3 Dodges I've had 2 have had moronic issues with their electronics. The Ram got traded in because I was sick of dealing with them. My Durango radio/camera makes me want to punch baby Jesus. Had it in the shop 3 times. One time they replaced it with a new radio and now it's having other problems. The outlier is my Charger. The Charger has a different radio than the SUV/Trucks it seems. It's not as flashy, but seems to not have nearly the problems.

We have 2014 Rams for work vehicles, guy I work with was driving near Lansing at 11 pm doing 75-80 when everything quit. No power at all. Nothing. Out of the blue. Towed it into the dealership. Apparently the main power junction or feed of some crap is near the peddles and came unplugged.

Should have got a Chevy!

I don't think I'll own another Chrysler product.
Amen, I will never purchase another dodge truck. The quality of my Sierra is absolutely way above my wife's ram. Ram front suspension sounds like a 25 year old box spring mattress, quarter panels have started to bubble this winter.....

My GMC is a 2010 and has 80k more than my wife's 08 Dodge, quality is still far superior, not a spot of rust on the truck.

Older rams are junk but the new ones have really improved my 2015 ram hemi has been a awesome truck so far at 15k miles and I have beat on it since day 1. My 2013 f150 ecoboost had a number of issues at 15k miles I got rid of it at 18k and picked up my ram.

My 2015 Ram 2500 I bought it new last February. It has been at the dealer for 2 weeks tomorrow, for a issue with the 4x4. The tech is sure there was some bad parts in the transfer case. Luckily one of those parts is way on backorder, so they will put in a brand new T-case. Sad thing is, the 4x4 has been used maybe 3 times. I have never taken it off road, its only been used on slick roads.

During the winter over certain bumps the front suspension is very clunky. There is also a issue with the transmission, but it doesn't happen enough for them to find the issue. At lease I have not reported it. I hope it makes it until 99,xxx miles.

Over the summer, I attempted to trade it in on a corvette. At that point with the discount at time of purchase and payments. I was sitting at a little over 10k below sticker. I was ok to looses a little more, but they came back another 10k under that. The sales rep actually apologized before he even told me. He said the resale on Chrysler products SUCK!!

So now I'll just hurry up and get it paid off, or maybe I'll find a way to get rid of it and not loose my ass so bad.

Oh and while they have had my truck, I've been driving a 2015 Ram 1500 4x4. I feel like I'm driving a late 90's ranger or s-10. I'm guessing the only way they can sell those trucks is due to the 5.7 Hemi. They must have it tuned out, to give it a little "awe factor"
