Possibly coincide with a or a few MM club sponsors that have a decent lot that can allow the camaraderie of MM folks for the next picnic opportunity?

The Bakers Sunday cruise is 3p-7p. So we could get there at lunch and hang out to catch part of the show. Or maybe a late lunch. I count us at 10ppl. Want me to try to call and get a table? Just need to know if we want noon or 1pm. Let me know and I will see if they can take a reservation or not.

I'll have at least 1 other car, maybe 2.

Jacked up my back somehow yesterday , still not better today so I'm nursing it on the couch. Probably won't make the noon lunch but I'm gonna try to swing out in a bit if the pain meds can take the edge off. Sitting in a car right now ain't happening for sure!

Absolutely fucking ridiculous to cancel without notice on a sunny afternoon. I was already at the park and have Kyle and Stanley with me. I brought them because we we're to be meeting at a park. Bakers isn't set up for dogs. Whatever. If you guys have a contingency to cancel based on participation then it should be stated up front so people don't waste their time. Extremely low class & inconsiderate.

Cancel without notice?? Days ago it was posted in this thread to hit Bakers directly versus all 6 of us having a small picnic and then going to Bakers. We changed the eating venue, that was it. Unbelievable.

I'm sure the people that went to Kensington aimed that because the thread absolutely said Kensington on the 26th, they didn't continue following the thread. Probably should have made a new post and used Facebook.

So if I made a new post instead of posting about the topic at hand in the same thread that would have been a better idea?? So 2 posts about the picnic going at the same time, got it.. Tony did post in the invite that Mark created about the updated change as well, I didn't create the FB invite so how was I supposed to edit that again? Having the MM facebook page and the message board that both serve the same purpose is the reason I wanted to remove the fb page before. Sorry for the confusion guys, obviously wasn't my intent and apologize. I posted on the 22nd about our turnout and thought that that it would be plenty of notice. I know before I attend anything I always check the days/times etc. I'll see everyone on the 15th for the dream cruise or October 10th for our 9AM-1PM track rental, enjoy the awesome weather!

Exactly. I don't reread entire threads to see if minor details such as the entire thing being cancelled is mentioned.

Yeah - the day of the event - I didn't even see it until after I was at Kensington.
Some of us were expecting today to be the club picnic.
With that in mind I packed for a picnic and brought my dogs, as a park is an appropriate place for them.
Later I find out it's not a picnic at all - it's a restaurant get-together. I wouldn't have even bothered had I known that.
Whatever. What's done is done.
