We are planning to be there. My car may still be in pieces though. I'll see if Ashley wants to make a dish to pass. Her potato salad has been enjoyed in the past. Or would you guys prefer the killer jello shots? ;)

Yeah, not looking like my car will be making it for this. That leaves me a target of getting it back together for Woodward. So much for keeping the insurance on it this year..... ;)

Why is that car apart, Tony!?

Ill be there with possible guest.
Was pulling the hotside parts to get ceramic coating redone. It's been 6yrs since I had it apart and I forgot what a pain it is to get everything off. I was hoping to not have to pull the k-member but it's looking like that has to at least be loosened a bunch to get the turbo's out. So it's like half apart waiting for more disassembly while I am working on property stuff too. ;)

The daily pass is $7 to enter the park.

The club will provide hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, the toppings, chips and pop to drink. If you would like to bring something other than hotdogs or hamburgers, we can find you some grill space too. We'll also have the plates, cups and plastic ware to go with it. Feel free to bring your own "drinks" but avoid glass containers because they can attract unwanted attention. Also feel free to bring along a dish to pass if you want too.

The whole family is welcome to come and so are club guests. So lets get people out there folks. Let us know if you are coming and if you are bringing others so we can get a tentative headcount for food.

so do we have to pay for anything (other than admission to the park?) bring anything?

Only 6 people are going according to the poll

I count 9 according to the poll. Not our best turnout.... Come on guys & gals! Come on out for a fun afternoon of laughter, some decent food and hopefully a few cars to scope out.

Based on the current turnout guys i'm really debating if this is "financially responsible" for the club. Anything I buy is usually in bulk for the club, we've got the dream cruise coming up that we're short on currently and buying food that i'll need to figure out how to store for a few weeks since it will be boxes and boxes of burgers dogs/buns/condiments etc. and buying again the 2nd time a few weeks later just doesn't seem practical for such a small group. I'm thinking we meet somewhere, roll into Bakers as a group and can eat there with the size of the group that we have. That'll avoid people having to pay to enter Kensington, then turn right back around after eating and going to Bakers.

Make a final decision and let us know. I'm fine with either.

Bakers does have GREAT food! They had some awesome new stuff that I tried at the MIFbody show this spring.

Let's just meet at Bakers then, what time and where do you guys want to meet? I don't have a "show" car by any means so i'm not concerned about parking in the show parking lol.

There is also a Dairy Queen across the street.

I'm assuming you want all the cars in the same general area. As such, you do not want to get there too late. Noon'ish?
Plus you can come and go as you like.
Baker's has great food and drinks. they always have a DJ out there for the car shows.

I definately won't be showing mine and hoping I can get the rain off it from woodward last year before I go.. Since that's the last day I drove it lol. I just want everyone to be able to find each other

I'm sorry I didn't check the poll for this thread. I would be by myself any way. I'll keep an eye out to see where everyone is meeting. I'm in the process of getting my car ready for Woodward and possibly the track day at Milan.

The Bakers Sunday cruise is 3p-7p. So we could get there at lunch and hang out to catch part of the show. Or maybe a late lunch. I count us at 10ppl. Want me to try to call and get a table? Just need to know if we want noon or 1pm. Let me know and I will see if they can take a reservation or not.
