I really don't think I'm the type to freak out and overreact to things throughout the baseball season, but I'm beginning to be concerned about JV. He hasn't been really sharp yet in a single game this year and he seems to be having control problems. Way too many walks and throwing too many pitches in the early innings.
This was a truly embarrassing performance for all of us Tigers fans to see from our ace. When your team gets a great pitcher on the ropes and scores runs you absolutely cannot come out the next inning missing the strike zone, walking in 2 runs, and then just getting lit up and blowing all the good work your guys did in the first half of the inning. Totally pathetic and unacceptable. JV needs to get his shit right because I'm tired of these poor performances.
