2013 College Football Megathread

The ACC is linked to the Orange Bowl, the Big Ten and Pac-12 with the Rose Bowl, the Big 12 with the Fiesta Bowl and the SEC with the Sugar Bowl.

with ACC in the NC, it'll more than likely pick Bama which opens up the Sugar.

BCS Standing

1) Florida State
2) Auburn
3) Alabama
4) Michigan State
5) Baylor
7) Ohio State
19) Wisconsin

Um to the BWW bowl. I was positive Gator would take us, but oh well. Either way it's not going to matter. We would have had a good chance against a Murrayless dogs and I don't think KSU will be an unwinnable game either.

Narduzzi to interview at UConn. Not a MAC job. Good luck to him. I'll be sorry to see him leave if he takes the job.

I loved the "burn the couch" sign at the game Saturday. Everyone knew it was coming.

Think about it...if MSU didn't get screwed on some interference calls against ND, they'd be playing for the NC most likely.

I went with some of my friends down to Cedar Village to see some of the craziness. Thankfully we left before stuff got too out of hand. Didn't see any couches actually burning, but I did see a few charred remains. I feel bad for the kid whose car got flipped over, that's just a whole new level of stupid. I'm ok with gathering to celebrate in the streets, but damaging public/someone else's property is where it crosses the line. Some other students got an online fundraiser together to help cover his car repair/replacement.

I thought the funniest part was when one of my friends from Wisconsin texted me saying, "What does burn the couches mean?"

So I wonder where Jim is...

...........Haven't been online....

Congrats to MSU on a great victory and a great season. I wasn't surprised by the outcome, as MSU has been playing very well for weeks now. I didn't feel that OSU would match up well against FSU, much less Auburn or Alabama in a NC game. Winning a major bowl game can only help with the recruiting, so....here's hoping the Buckeyes can beat Clemson...GO BUCKS!!

Now it's time to root for the B1G teams in the bowl games.

Will be pulling for the B1G in the bowls. I really think Clemson will lose to OSU.

First thoughts about the B1G Bowl games. Most are evenly matched. The Stinkbear and Wildcat game is a toss up. So is the Badger/Gamecock game. I think LSU has an edge on Iowa and Georgia has an edge on Nebraska. Minnesota should beat Syracuse and a slight edge to MSU and OSU in their BCS games. I still don't think there is anyone in the B1G that can play with FSU, Alabama or Auburn. But I do think the gap is closing.

It's always lame to play the same team in the same bowl as the previous year. Hard to get excited for that. What is the prognosis for Georgia's injured players returning for the bowl? Hopefully not good so Nebraska stands some chance. Probably two of the most injured teams in the nation in the same bowl to boot. A way to make a lame match up even lamer.

http://espn.go.com/college-football/bowls13/story/_/id/10112150/every-bowl-game-ranked-1-35

So I hit that article, search for Nebraska expecting it to drop down to about 30th. That game is 10th. What? How? So I proceed to look down the list for games I think should be ranked above it. I found a few, but not many. I usually watch a lot of bowls, and probably still will since there won't be anything else not Christmas related on and I have a lot of time off from work to watch them. But holy shit, I'm going to be watching a lot of shit that will be pretty unbearable.
