2013 College Football Megathread

2014 DE Jhonny Williams (Berrien Springs, MI) says Michigan no longer in consideration. Down to Missouri and ND.

It also means two more Top 5 teams coming toward MSU. And after beating OSU, MSU should be around #6...

I'm rooting for either Alabama or FSU to lose and OSU go into the B1G Championship undefeated. That way, if we were to lose, OSU would go to the NC and we would still get to the Rose Bowl (that is, if the BCS doesn't screw us again and put WI in ahead of us)

OR MSU could beat OSU and earn a rose bowl berth Not sneak in the back door

"Sneak in the back door?" Really? If we go 11-1 in the regular season (winning a division title along the way) and lose a close game to a team who goes on to play for the national title, we have earned a spot in that game just as much as anybody.

But I agree, beating OSU would be the simplest scenario haha

After 2011, I don't trust the bowls to do the right thing. I would think Pasadena would be a little tired of Wisconsin after 3 years in a row, but I can see the Orange Bowl taking them. The only way this would be anywhere acceptable is if we get to play Alabama in the Citrus Bowl again.

you would be 11-2 if OSU goes on to play for NC.

If Auburn beats Bama they could pass OSU for the #2 spot, and sneak into the NC with a Win in the SEC championship,

I can't believe these games Nebraska keeps managing to win or hang around in with all their ridiculous turnovers. The O line is decimated. The starting senior QB has been out for most of the season. The QB of the future appears to not actually be any good after looking stellar his first two games (against shitty opposition). Hopefully the next red shirt QB in waiting turns out to be better? Yet the team might still get a 9 win regular season. And rumors about the coach getting canned after all that when next year's defense might return all 11 starters are ridiculous but persistent.

I seriously needed this laugh today. 2 FL players blocking each other.
