2013 College Football Megathread

I'm glad we went into a soft defense... said no one ever. When will Hoke either take control of his team or get fired? The excuse of 'bad offense play calling' only goes for so long. Fire Hoke and Borges.

Tough loss, especially in The Big House.....UM just doesn't look like the type of team we've come to expect from such a great program. Even under Carr, I think we'd all expect a last minute drive, and a victory. With Hoke, it was kinda....game over after the last Nebraska score.

I agree. As I sat there watching, I was thinking "In the past, 2 minutes to score a TD, I'm not worried." Now, I'm worried if we don't have 3 posessions to get a TD.

Trust me, win or lose, I've always enjoyed the epic OSU-UM final game of the season-Big 10 title-going to the Rose Bowl games. MSU's/Northwestern's, etc. come and go, but THE GAME has always held the biggest appeal. We need UM at its best for THE GAME to mean something.

Playing you guys twice would have sucked. If each team wins one, what the hell does that prove?

C'mon, we've all spent most our lives living and dying by the OSU-UM game. That's why we terrorize each other from the minute the new football year thread starts. UM-MSU, with the exception of two or three folks here, is merely an afterthought....

If OSU loses to MSU, there'll be a few barbs, but lose to UM?....All hell will break loose....

This right here epitomizes our team this whole season except for the first 2 games.

Hoke said that he was happy with the play calling, said he needs to
coach better. He says that after every game. I'm so sick of all the talk this team does.
All talk, no improvement.
Funk will have a younger offensive line next year to coach.

Yeah, Nebraska's D really isn't good but they looked like they had the 2009 D back today.

I don't think I've ever seen a game with a decent amount of wind and nearly all points scored while going into the wind before. That was kind of weird.

I was surprised when I read that was Hoke's first loss in the Big House.

I still don't have much hope for beating MSU but it is certainly a huge game for the Legends division lead. Tommy Armstrong looked great his first couple starts but hasn't looked very good since. Martinez is real busted up and we saw how he played all busted up against Minnesota.

Good news for Michigan, Northwestern is coming for you and they don't really seem to have a pulse.

South Dakota friggin State is a FCS school. A 6-4 FCS team. Yet they ran for 271 yards on Nebraska. Truly astonshing when you put some of these things in perspective. Pur-friggin-due ran for 82 yards on 20 carries. Purdue would probably be lucky to go 6-4 in FCS.

That article is too funny. The comments after it was even more laughable. Michigan fan is ready to dump Hoke after 2-1/2 years as coach. Brandon fired RichRod after 3 seasons and two recruiting classes. I'm sure Michigan would have a real easy time hiring a coach when there is a record of a quick hook. John L Smith is looking for a job...
