2013 College Football Megathread

Well, the overrated U of M really showed itself today. The offense was pathetic, and the defense wasn't the reason MSU couldn't score in the first half. Now, to be fair, MSU is far from perfect as well. Their offense couldn't get much going until late in the third. If MSU win's out, and it looks like they will, they'll play OSU in the Big 10 Championship and probably get murdered. Then again, OSU hasn't played a team with any sort of quality defense yet.
 
Good game sparty. Your defense is the real deal. I hope you truck Ohio in the big 10 championship game.

Like any game MSU plays, the 1st one to 20 wins. The final score last year was 17-16. Like Michigan, OSU's defense is the weak link. As for not producing until the 3rd quarter, MSU's offensive line wear's you down. Braxton Miller will look like Devin Gardner and Shoestring.
 
MSU looked tough yesterday, but it's hard to judge just how good, or bad UM really is. Either way, the OSU-UM game will be a good one. It always is...

In other news, this article hits it on the head. I'm still behind Hoke, but he needs to pull up his big boy pants and coach. Get rid of Borges and possibly the O-line coach, but Hoke can't keep taking top tier talent and making them into weak players. The last of Rich Rod's recruits will be gone after this year (except for Gardner I believe), so now it's fully on him. His only saving grace from a Rich Rod fate right now is he's won a BCS game and beat OSU. He falls to OSU (looking likely) this year and next year delivers another uninspiring 8 - 5 season and the faithful will start to riot in the streets.

The funny part is that anyone as a Michigan fan thought that they had a chance before that game started. When the players started talking about getting 'beat up' in the 2011 game, it was over. And that was last Tuesday. MSU out recruits UM because they recruit to a system, not a number. Hoke said four MSU players on the defense will be playing on Sundays. How many Wolverines? Based on Saturday's game, I can't imagine there will be too many.

The only player acting like a thug was Lewan. How many face mask penalties should have gotten? 6? 7? He was pancaked by a safety during one of the sacks allowed. Maybe he should be suspended for the Nebraska game... Pussy!!!

No one, especially MSU, owes Michigan shit. Bo is dead. Canham is dead. Get used to the Brady and Dave show. It amazes me how much arrogance the fans of A.A.C.C. have. This isn't the time of leather helmets. This isn't the time you can play all your games at home. The Walmart Wolverines are no longer the best team in the state. They haven't been since 2007. Get over it and quit your crying...

Try being consistent before you take the crown of best team in the state. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you did lose to Notre Dame.
 
I grew up going to U of M game. my parents had season tickets from birth until I was 22.
Part of the reason I went to MSU

I have only one thing to say about the game.

U of M set a new school records with -48 (yes minus) yards rushing. Bo Schembechler just rolled over in his grave!
