2013 College Football Megathread

So I knew Southern Miss went from having a solid season in 11 to going 0 for 2012 and kicking off this season with another loss. I didn't realize that while turning to crap they had also become so broke that they got Nebraska to give them money to make what was going to be a home game for Southern Miss be a Nebraska home game. All that said, watch Nebraska somehow lose to that shitty lame program tomorrow.

MSU's defense is the best offense...

The OL and the WR are a big disappointment. Hopefully we can put the QB mess to rest. Maxwell has played better than the other two guys. I will also say the play calling is too conservative. Hopefully they'll get this crap figured out by next week.

How did Texas do?

Virginia beat BYU, Oregon blew out Virginia...Texas had to have won, right???

Oops!!! Oh well, there's always Kansas...

Great game from Michigan and the Gardner Gallon combination last night. Very proud of the team and I'm excited to see what the rest of the season holds for us.

Looking like that MSU offense may be a Dantonio problem and not as much of a Dan Roushar issue as everyone was saying the last couple years... Only time will tell on that this year.

After two weeks, my revised picks for the season:

vs. YSU: W
@ ND: L
@ IA: L
vs. IN: W
vs. Purdue W
@ IL: W
vs. UM: L
@ Nebraska: L
@ NW: L
vs. MN: W

So that puts us at 7-5, though I could very easily see that being reversed to 5-7

I think we're going to see Damian Terry on Saturday. But someone has to catch the ball. I said as the receivers go, so goes the offense. Right now there is not one 'go to' receiver. There is no separation. I still think Maxwell has been the best QB so far. The running backs have performed well, but the TE's are non existent.

The defense is as advertised. The offense doesn't have to score 60 points. But 20 points would be nice.
