Half the reason the Skunkbears hired Hoke was Borges. He was the OC and QB coach at SDSU with Hoke. They ran a Pro Set offense. With Shoestring and Gardner, Borges has had to run a modified spread. This wasn't his offense. Can you say scapegoat? It's the Michigan way.

This has nothing to do with being a scapegoat. Look at the play calling for the bowl game. and that was a QB that was his tried and true methodology. He wasn't the right fit and it became apparent over the last 2 seasons.

Nuss is slated to be getting paid 1.1 mil. pretty close to double what Bama was paying him and pretty sure he's making more than many B1G head coaches. Possibly, Brandon has pulled his head out of his ass.

The rumors coming from inside the program was that when they game plan was terrible(MSU), it was Hoke's. When it worked (OSU) it was Borgus.

Might have fired the wrong guy.

Hoke is still on ice. It's just not as thin at the moment in my opinion. Though there's also rumors that firing Borgus was DB's decision forced on Hoke.
