2013 College Football Megathread

And that will be the test. MSU hasn't played anyone yet. But Conner Cook is 14/21 for 191 yrds and 4 TD's in the first half. And it's 35-10. They finally have had the receivers catch a few.

bama better pull it together or they will get their ass kicked. In other news, Tenn scored against Oregon....

I didn't get a chance to watch the Michigan game, I had to coach football today. I did DVR it and sounds like it will be hard to watch. I new it was a let down game but come on. Way to close. Did you guys see the pictures of the sky at msu game? That was funny, maybe that helped fire ol sparty up.

Good to see MSU's offense wake up. It needed to happen before the serious games.

Akron had that game. That would have been one hell of an ugly place to be. For a team that went 4-34 since 2009, that was just ugly. That game should have been a cake walk for U of M.

Akron blew two FG's. Akron should have won...

But I'm sure Michigan's proud...

Should have and actually doing it are two very different things... This will be a good wake up call for the team and at least we didn't have to lose a game to learn that lesson. Team didn't look focused to me at all today... Pretty sad really, but the defense stiffened up for that goal line stand at least.

I agree. This should get the cobwebs of laziness out of their system. Should show up to the rest of the games. We'll see for sure next week.

Beware the Connecticut Huskies...

And Ross... Look at it this way, Texas still has Iowa St and Kansas on their schedule.

Seriously though, both UM and OSU showed some vulnerability. Winning is winning, but I was surprised to see UM play that poorly. They've looked great these past few weeks, and the Akron game should have been an easy win for them. Should be a good wake-up call for the coaching staff.

As for the Buckeyes, the defense has to improve or their lofty early season ranking will prove to be just hype.

Could be a stressful season for both teams faithful...

I guess Gardner is no longer a Heisman Trophy candidate. I can't wait until MSU's defense gets ahold of Shoestring, Jr.

How I would rank the teams so far. OSU looks the best so far, might have to move Miller to RB. Gardner is a turn over machine.
1. Ohio State, 3-0
2. Northwestern, 3-0
3. Michigan, 3-0
4. Wisconsin, 2-1 ]
5. Nebraska, 2-1
